Meet The Doctors

Dr. Sid Johnson, DDS

Dentistry is a highly unique field. It allows patients to regain youth, function, confidence, and a multitude of improvements in their daily lives, and I am allowed to make those changes happen.

I appreciate the diversity of my days, and how each case and person is different: what some people want or need is not what fits with another person’s situation. It is my responsibility to learn and fully understand each person’s requirements and then develop a treatment approach that delivers exactly what that person needs and wants.

Whether I am providing education and encouragement during a check-up, improving a smile, or restoring function so a person can enjoy the foods they love, my focus is always on the person before me. The ending smiles — and the lasting relationships that grow with every person in my care — keep me excited about my career.

Among his postgraduate coursework, Dr. Johnson has studied dental implants, dental treatment for airway obstruction (snoring and sleep apnea), and new technologies, including CAD/CAM and Cone Beam Radiography CBCT.

Dr. Johnson’s active memberships in the American Dental Association and Oklahoma Dental Association allow him to study under leading researchers and practitioners. In turn, he is able to bring this knowledge back to the practice and to his patients.

Raised in Bridge Creek, Dr. Johnson has lived in South Oklahoma City for many years. Outside of work, his priority is quality time with wife Malinda, son Caden, daughter Halle, and their Eagle Heights Church family.

Dr. Johnson also enjoys hunting and fishing, farming, skiing and snowboarding, and coaching at CCS.

Dr. Malori Mills, DDS

When I was young, my goal was to choose a career that I’d enjoy every day, one where I could interact with and build lifelong relationships with those around me. I was drawn to oral healthcare, as it fulfilled my desire to get to know people and build relationships, while providing compassionate care that improved people’s lives.

I love getting to know patients on a personal level. I take time to listen to each person’s concerns and goals, and then work with them to develop a comprehensive treatment plan that meets their needs, improving their oral and overall health. Our interaction in this process forges trust and a strong bond of respect, and my patients learn that I truly care about them.

I started working in the dental field as a senior in high school. I have worked every position in a practice, from front office to patient consults and chairside assisting. Now, as a dentist, I am able to understand the whole of the patient experience and strive to deliver care that exceeds a person’s expectations at every step.

In addition, Dr. Mills is a member of the American Dental Association, Oklahoma Dental Association, Oklahoma Association of Women Dentists, and Oklahoma County Dental Society.

Dr. Mills and her husband, Eric, a Realtor, met during her freshman year in college. They share their lives with a young daughter, Emery, and two dogs. Away from the office, you’ll find Dr. Mills spending time with her family, volunteering with Oklahoma Mission of Mercy (OKMOM) and LOVE OKC, and at Life Church.

Dr. Kirk Murray, DMD

I joined Contemporary Family Dentistry in June of 2020. I am honored every day to be in such a unique field of medicine. My favorite thing about working in dentistry is the wonderful blend between art and science. It has all the complexities of the human body, from the physics behind chewing to the interactions between the oral cavity and the organ systems.

Understanding how to completely transform a patient’s smile, and being a part of the process from start to finish, is what I love to do. Seeing my patient’s genuine happiness when they reach their smile goals is one of my main motivations. I look forward to building relationships with my team and each of my patients.

Dr. Lori Holden, DDS

I have been practicing dentistry since 2005. I am an extrovert who thoroughly enjoys meeting and talking with all kinds of people. I also enjoy being challenged and learning new things. This is what I love most about dentistry – I am able to combine my love of people and socializing with my passion for science. My favorite procedures are the more technical ones, such as root canals and placing implants. It is a challenge to myself, and I get to serve more of our patients without having to refer them out to specialists.

Before going to dental school, I worked in the medical research field for a few years and learned to love scientific research. I use this love for dentistry to stay on top of all the new technical and scientific developments in the dental field. I truly enjoy explaining a variety of dental concepts to my patients in a way that is easy to understand. I am honored to help patients through their dental anxiety by making it a good experience and keeping them comfortable throughout the procedure. I cherish helping patients restore their confidence by giving them a beautiful, healthy smile. Oral health care is so important to patients’ overall health and wellbeing. I am grateful for the opportunity to educate patients about this to help them live a longer, healthier life.

I was born in South Oklahoma City and raised in Norman, close to Lake Thunderbird. I grew up with a love for the outdoors and animals. My childhood was spent climbing trees, riding horses and playing in the pond. As I grew into adulthood, I began to develop a love for computers and technology. I enjoy traveling, watching superhero movies, reading (especially Harry Potter books) and spending time with family and friends. I love learning as well, and I find all different topics interesting.
